Old Thorns Hotel and Resort is just off the A3 (Take the Griggs Green exit).

There is plenty of parking and if your thinking of staying then currently there are rooms available. If your looking to party and get a taxi back then here are some local numbers 01428 723723 (Liphook Taxis) 01428 787222 (Haslemere Taxis). We would recommend you book in advance.

Attire - Looking the Part

Ladies dress to impress - think cocktail / party / evening - sparkles are always a bonus!

Gentlemen - Think GQ - Suits (tie optional) or crack out the tux and pretend your 007 for the night (you might need a new cummerbund if its been a while!)

My wife is one of the most selfless individuals I have ever encountered. She always puts our children and me first, without a thought for herself. Her beauty radiates from within, and even after all these years, she remains a stunning woman on the outside. She is not just my partner, but also my closest confidante. Our love story 30 April 2000

On their inaugural date, the clever Nick treated Liz to a shopping spree at Bicester Village, a drink in Woking, and dinner. Nick graciously let Liz pick any restaurant, and she chose KFC, solidifying her place in Nick's heart!

Getting engaged 5th November 2003

Nick surprised Liz at the fireworks night in Chiddingfold by nearly dropping to one knee (quite muddy) and proposing with his late mother's ring. When she turned around to find him, she looked down, puzzled by his actions. Nick asked the big question, and she happily said yes, while our friends celebrated by popping bubbles.

The big day 20 years ago! 28 August 2004

Their special day had finally arrived at the Spread Eagle Hotel in Midhurst. Liz looked stunning, to the point that Nick couldn't even gaze at her during their vows without feeling tears welling up. It was a wonderful day, filled with joy shared with friends and family. We also hold onto amusing memories, like the uncle who earned the nickname "uncle drunkard." Now, 20 years later, we find ourselves wanting to relive it all over again.

There are plenty of things I could write about Nick…..he’s the rum to my Coke Zero, the Mickey to my Minnie, the calm to my chaos. He is kind, patient, loyal, honest, easy going, hardworking, caring and his love for the children and I is unwavering. He has the ability to make me laugh every single day. But, basically all you really need to know is that Nick is MY person, my one true love.
